Hiya! I. Heema Sow here, but most people in-person know me as Ibrahima, and most people online know me as misterHEEMA (or just Heema, I get that one a lot). I’m a storyteller, editor, and creative producer who loves building worlds through media and technology. I attended DePaul University, where I majored in Computer Science with a focus in Software Development, but don’t let that fool you — I’m an encyclopedia of media!
I’ve always been fascinated by how stories move people, whether through a film scene, a perfectly timed edit, or just any well-thought-out interaction on a screen. My work blends creativity with structure — part filmmaker, part developer — where the goal is always to make something that feels alive.

Through my projects built on table reads, talk shows, video essays, and even short films, I want to explore everything from pop culture analysis to original storytelling and film production. My background in Computer Science and media gives me the tools to merge creativity with technical precision — whether that means designing websites, producing content (both short-form and long-form), or directing projects that push boundaries.
When I’m not editing, filming, or coding, I’m usually brainstorming new ideas that connect art, humor, and authenticity. misterHEEMA isn’t just a name — it’s my creative haven built around curiosity, expression, experimentation, and community. There’s a reason I named my group of followers the Muchacho Mob! (and it’s not just because I thought the design looked cool from the Kenan & Kel opening credits, heh.)
